I started remodelling the interior of my house and I really need your advice ! I bought some new furniture and I don’t know how to paint the walls of the room in order to match that color with the color of the furniture. The sofa and the armchairs I bought are brown, with white and black stripes… and the rest of the furniture is also a dark brown natural wood color. The only think that is a light color of wood is the floor… So, I was wondering… What color can I use to paint the walls to make all the colors match ?

Oh, and one more question… what colors should the curtains be ?

Dude..the walls can be painted in an off-white or very light beige color. That way any furniture you have will be okay. Colored walls are tacky and get boring after a while.

YES! I bought my sofa at Big Lots in 2001 & I still use it everyday. It’s quite comfortable & it’s held up well over the years. I am thinking of finally unloading it, but only b/c I want something that better matches my decor (and I hate slipcovers). I don’t regret the purchase at all – it was worth every penny.

i just got these 3 beautiful furniture pieces, sofa table and 2 end tables, dark cherry wood and the tops seem to have a bit of surface scratches, how to get these out? i tried furniture polish but nope didnt work…thanks

There is this crayon pen thing invented by the Japanese, where you colour in the scratch and let the crayon fill the gap and then wipe the surface of the table clean, and the scratch will seem almost invisible. Go to some hardware or furniture stores to ask about it.

I heard that you can get rid of dog fleas with vinegar but I’m wondering if it could damage my sofa and other furniture. I’m planning to spray my dog with a mix of water and vinegar but I also need to get rid of the fleas in my couch, his bed and the rugs in the bathroom.
